Surveying Capabilities
Due to the sheer size of many wind farm projects, and what is typically an assembly of properties, surveying plays a critical role in financing, design, and construction of the improvements. Actions such as careful review of title documents and searching for record of existing easements for entitlements require the services of experienced and diligent professionals. Resolving boundary lines and mapping across such broad areas demands access to and familiarity with key resources such as deed and survey research, cadastral surveying, and aerial photogrammetric services. Westlake’s dedicated Wind Power Division survey team has decades of cumulative experience working with many complex scenarios, and they have the resolve, tenacity, and professionalism to find answers to the difficult questions.
