Our expanding market in providing quality specialized surveying services to a broad range of clients requires that we grow our survey department to meet increasing demands. We are looking for individuals who are interested in long-term employment and an opportunity to expand their professional skills.
Senior Survey Technician for Industrial Measurement and Laser Scanning Team
This position is both an office and field position. An individual with diverse skills and the ability to be flexible is preferred.
The ideal candidate will offer the following:
-A four-year degree from an accredited school, with an LSIT/PLS preferred.
-Min. 5+ years of combined field and office experience with an emphasis in construction layout.
-AutoCAD experience for drafting and calculations (preferably 3D AutoCAD.
-Good organizational and communication skills and a commitment to team work.
-Ability to travel; pass drug screening and background checks for badging in secure environments.
-An excellent work ethic, combined with an active mind and problem-solving abilities.
-Versed in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desired but not required:
-Laser scanning experience including data processing a definite plus.
-Experience with FARO Laser scanners is desired.
-Experience with 3D software a plus (Autodesk Navisworks, 3D Studio Max, Cyclone, Kubit, etc.)
Survey Crew Chief for Industrial Measurement and Laser Scanning Team
The ideal candidate will have:
-5 years experience in crew supervision; construction layout; client liaison; field procedures for data collection, calculations, and layout; detailed note keeping techniques; and careful implementation of QA procedures. -A genuine aptitude for geometry, problem solving, and prior experience in precise surveying / measurement would be of great value. Some experience with AutoCAD would be valuable as well. -Candidate must be proficient with robotic total stations and data collectors. -Must be able to be badged for work in sensitive sites (i.e. drug testing and background checks). -Experience in high tech manufacturing or clean room environments a plus. -The position may include some travel out of state, and a valid Oregon Drivers License is required. -PLS preferred.Survey Instrument Person for Industrial Measurement and Laser Scanning Team
