Judi A. Haney, President
Judi is the President, CEO and acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of Westlake Consultants, Inc. She has over 35 years of experience working to provide consulting engineering, land use planning and surveying services to the development community. She provides the direction and leadership necessary to enable Westlake to achieve its goals and objectives, and to carry out the mission and philosophy of the company.
Len J. Schelsky, PLS, Principal
As Westlake’s Vice President, Len has over 30 years experience in surveying,
civil design, land use and site master planning. Len contributes a creative
approach to site development, joined with an excellent understanding of
the concerns of private sector clients. As Principal, Len ensures the successful
completion of projects and is available at all times to our clients.
Michael A. Hargrave, PLS, Principal
Mike provides leadership for Westlake as Vice President, Survey Division.
He works with staff and clients to ensure full satisfaction with the quality
and timeliness of services. Mike’s particular expertise is in heavy construction
surveying for large site development projects such as schools, apartment
complexes, commercial centers and public infrastructure such as transportation,
utility lines and treatment plants.
Lee D. Leighton, AICP, Associate Principal
As Director of Land Use Planning, Lee is central to the success of complex land use projects throughout Oregon. He provides a knowledgeable and insightful approach to governmental planning and private development permitting. Lee frequently provides leadership for multi-disciplinary teams, including civil and transportation engineering, economic/market analysis, and architecture and urban design.
Bernard R. Smith, PE, PLS, Associate Principal
Bernard brings his focus and energy to help guide Westlake as our Director of Engineering. With 30 years of experience as both a civil engineer and a land surveyor, Bernard ensures that each project progresses smoothly and professionally. His ability for clear and thorough communication provides a high level of responsiveness for our clients. Bernard’s goal is to match excellent service with technical expertise, for each and every project.
Gary R. Anderson, PLS, Associate Principal
Gary combines his in-depth knowledge of the surveying discipline with his strong commitment to meeting client goals. He draws on 30 years of experience to support multi-disciplinary teams, property developers, real estate professionals and public agencies. Gary has volunteered his time with the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon (PLSO) for many years, and currently serves as Board Chair of the organization.
Derek A. Colclough, Associate Principal
As Director of Industrial Measurement, Derek draws on years of industrial
and land surveying experience throughout Europe, the Middle East and North
and South America. He brings his creative, problem-solving perspective
to Westlake, directing our efforts in precise, 3D industrial measurement.
His goal is to provide the exact blend of specialized services necessary
to meet each client’s distinct measurement challenges.
John P. Tacchini, PLS
As our Manager of Development Survey, John coordinates our project teams and acts as client liaison. With over 25 years in project management, John excels at maintaining close coordination with design teams and sub-consultants, often working within multi-jurisdictional settings.
